Employee Owned Connection Membership Terms & Conditions
Date: October 25, 2024
Employee Owned Connection (“EO-C”) has been created to facilitate ESOPs and other Employee Owned companies (collectively “EOs”) to buy products and services from each other. The goal of EO-C is to create a business environment which increases the sales and profits of all participating EOs. We hope you will actively join us in the goal, for your personal benefit and for that of your organization, as well as for the overall promotion and advancement of all Employee Owned companies. We look forward to assisting you and your organization with overcoming the challenges, and taking advantage of the opportunities that will arise in the years to come.
EO-C membership is open to any federally registered ESOP or any other company which has at least 30% of its company stock owned by a legally formed entity made up of a broad cross section of employees. Examples of other forms of qualified employee ownership include Worker Cooperatives, Co-ownership and Employee Ownership Trusts. These companies may be in any industry located in the United States. To that end, we have taken the liberty to add your company to our list of members. If your company is not qualified for membership, or if you wish to be excluded from EO-C, please click this link and request that you be removed from our Membership.
Participation in EO-Connection requires completion of an editing process of your company’s Summary, which is subject to final approval by the management of Employee Owned Connection. Memberships become effective after acceptance of your first edit of the Summary and the addition on one or more Buyers and Sellers. There is no cost for membership or use of the EO-C website.
Each member, including organizations and their employees, and the organization’s officers, directors, and employees agrees to abide by the EO-C membership terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), as set forth herein. EO-C reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time with or without notice, in the sole discretion of the EO-C, and each Member's continued participation in the EO-C after the updates shall be considered acceptance of such updates/changes. If the EO-C updates or changes these Terms and Conditions, the updated Terms and Conditions will be posted as a link in the member login page of the EO-C website.p>
Failure to comply with these EO-C Terms and Conditions shall be considered good cause for the suspension or termination of an individual's or an organization's membership. - Memberships for organizations are issued in the name of the Employee Owned organization and benefits may be extended across that organization. One person within the organization will be initially designated as the primary contact who will be responsible for all membership related matters, including receiving membership related communications and updates from the EO-C.
- Individual memberships are not issued. Only companies in good standing with the laws of the U.S., their state, and the criteria established by EO-C may be members.
- To participate in an organization's member benefits, an individual must be associated with the member organization and must be operating under the same name, the same email domain, and the same Federal Identification Number (EIN) as the organization.
- By agreeing to join the EO-C and maintaining an active membership in the EO-C, the member is specifically granting the EO-C and our authorized third party vendors permission to use the member's contact information, including, but not limited to name, phone number(s), address(es), and email address(es), which for organizations, will include the contact information of each of the organization's participating employees (the combined individual, organization and organization's employees' contact information is collectively referred to as the “Member Contact Information”) for the purposes of processing and maintaining the membership throughout the respective membership term and for providing the products, services and benefits that the member acquires with membership, including regular communications about pertinent subject matter, such as business opportunities, events, webinars, education, and training opportunities, among others.

- The EO-C may be paid a referral fee in connection with an affinity partner contract. Where applicable, the affinity partner contracts enable us to provide discounted and/or customized products and services to our members, while providing the EO-C an additional income stream to assist with our mission.
- The type of membership requested as listed in membership applications must be accurate based on the business conducted by the member organization or individual. The EO-C may reclassify a member based on information that comes to light later.
